WWE Network coming to consoles & mobile next month

WWE Network has been announced for PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Starting next month, the service will offer a “24/7″ streaming service, bringing live wrestling pay-per-views, weekly shows and more to PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One over time.

The WWE website was updated with an FAQ on the service, which explains, “WWE Network is a 24/7 streaming service with both scheduled programming and an on-demand library. WWE Network will include all 12 WWE live pay-per-view events including WrestleMania 30, groundbreaking original series, reality shows and documentaries, and the most comprehensive video-on-demand library featuring all WWE, WCW and ECW pay-per-views and classic matches uncut and uncensored as well as replays of Raw and SmackDown episodes.

“Additional programming, including a live daily studio show coming this summer, and video-on-demand content will be added regularly.”

The service has only been announced for the US so far, and will cost $9.99 per month. It will begin Monday, February 24 at 9:00 am ET with a live post-show after Monday Night Raw.

It’ll launch initially on the WWE App for Kindle Fire, Android devices, iOS handhelds, Roku streaming devices, PS3, PS4 and Xbox 360.

Xbox One and selected Smart TVs will receive the service in the summer.

It's a great thing for them to start doing this. You watch all 12 PPV's a year which is over $600 value for 9.99/month. How awesome!

This is good, I started getting back into wrestling for last years WM so I might do it again and watch the 4 major PPV's with a few buddies

Axe I remember when I used to enjoy watching WWE. Then I realized how fake and scripted it was.


Its not fake, its real entertainment. When you watch a movie, do you call out how scripted and fake it is? A Movie is fake because they use special effects & camera tricks do make it. WWE is a art & anything but fake. The injuries, the slams, the fame is all very real


Actors can be injured when stunts go wrong, JUST LIKE WWE. Movies and WWE are BOTH called FAKE and SCRIPTED (unless the movie is a documentary.


however, it actually looks like a person gets hurt in a movie during a fight scene. not this stomp on the floor to make noise bs. but on a different note. great move for the wwe.
