50% of PS4 owners bought PS Plus

According to Sony's Chief Executive, two million plus PS4 owners have opted in to purchasing PlayStation Plus.

This was revealed during a investor call on Thursday, he was reluctant to offer specific numbers. He did state that there are now more than 150 million PSN accounts, how many of which are suspected to be duplicates was not commented on sadly.

UMF 150 million accounts isn't really valid. I remember I had about 9 PSN accounts on PS3 simply because you couldn't change your username...


That's your own fault for having issues sticking with one username.
I don't know 1 living soul who's stuck to 1 PSN account.

Xbox > PS4 (with lack of username change)

Well this is a pretty good figure seeming that there is bound to be a fair few duplicate accounts. I know i will definitely by buying PlayStation + when i get my hands on a PS4

Eh it wouldn't look good due to so many silver accounts made to snag a name and how many members have been banned... The percentage wouldn't be near % 50
