Sony promises 100 PS4 games in 2014

Sony has promised over 100 games will release for PlayStation 4 during 2014.

The company Tweeted the statistic during its PS4 showcase event in Los Angeles.

These titles are likely to include both digital-only and retail releases, ranging from indie titles through to Triple A Sony exclusives such as Infamous Second Son.

Sony has already released a number of indie titles in 2014, including Outlast and Don't Starve. Titles including Fez, Rogue Legacy and Strider are among the titles slated for release later this year.

Meanwhile, Sony has confirmed that Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, Don't Starve and NBA 2k14 are the most popular games on Remote Play, which allows users to stream PS4 games to the PS Vita.

Sony has made a series of announcements today including a PS Vita / Borderlands 2 bundle, which is due to release sometime between March and May.

The company also announced new Vita bundles for Ratchet & Clank and God of War.

Yeah, I'm waiting for MLB The Show to come out, but I can't wait for more titles

Hopefully there's quality amidst the quantity. The only PS4 games I'm really looking forward to right now are Transistor and Destiny.

It's going to be quite hard for them to pull off. But i would personally like to see this happen, a large libary of games is always good for a gaming platform


Kind of like my steam library... not all of them are good but I enjoy playing most of them. Maybe these games won't be 60 dollar AAA games, rather ones like Bastion

You do realize they are talking about ALL developers, not just Sony studios. Much more conceivable.

Cutler There are what... 52 weeks in a year? So that would be about 2 games a week. I doubt that. Quality > Quanitity
