"Black Screen" issue arises from latest Xbox One System Update

In their most recent system update for the Xbox One Microsoft has inadvertently added a pretty nasty bug which disables the video for you console with a single button press.

According to games via reddit and other various outlets, we have multiple reports of screens just going black after pressing the Xbox button to access the home screen. This effectively disables all video from the system, the only way to fix this is to perform a hard reset or manually remove the power cable from the unit.

Microsoft is aware of this issues as seen via their twitter support account.

Their have been so many issues with this console already. Microsoft are ruining their reputation with all these bugs and glitches. I suppose it's not as bad as the RROD issue when the 360 was first released though.

I think they should make it fast. It takes forever to load messages and profiles.
