Tony Hawk developing new game with Activision

Activision is developing a new game in partnership with Tony Hawk, the publisher has confirmed.

Hawk, a professional skater who has starred in his own series of skateboarding games stretching back to 1999, revealed that he is "working on a game" during a recent radio show. "It's pretty cool," he said, without elaborating further.

Confirming the title, publisher Activision said in a follow-up statement, "Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk.

"More info is coming soon," it told IGN.

It's unclear if the new game will be a Tony Hawk Pro Skater title or something else. The last THPS game released was 2012's Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, a somewhat updated remake of the original 1999 PSone title.

It was developed by Robomodo and published by Activision.

JRJ I've never been to big into Tony Hawk games, my brother was but I never found them that interesting. Hope this one is good!


Yeah some of his skating games are good i played it on the Ps2,

Dorkus Tony hawk games were my childhood and to know that they're making another one in the next gen consoles is an awesome feeling.


Same i use to play his skating games on Ps2 i enjoyed it :).

Whiz These games bring back many childhood memories, will be good to see a new game, especially with modern day graphic capabilities.


These games do definitely bring back childhood memories, I will definitely be getting any Skateboarding game that comes out that Tony Hawk develops along side Activision.


I don't think it is going to be that good of a game to be honest. I think tony is getting to old to be making all these new games now.
