Tony Hawk developing new game with Activision

Activision is developing a new game in partnership with Tony Hawk, the publisher has confirmed.

Hawk, a professional skater who has starred in his own series of skateboarding games stretching back to 1999, revealed that he is "working on a game" during a recent radio show. "It's pretty cool," he said, without elaborating further.

Confirming the title, publisher Activision said in a follow-up statement, "Activision can confirm that they have something in the works with Tony Hawk.

"More info is coming soon," it told IGN.

It's unclear if the new game will be a Tony Hawk Pro Skater title or something else. The last THPS game released was 2012's Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD, a somewhat updated remake of the original 1999 PSone title.

It was developed by Robomodo and published by Activision.

Whiz These games bring back many childhood memories, will be good to see a new game, especially with modern day graphic capabilities.


These games do definitely bring back childhood memories, I will definitely be getting any Skateboarding game that comes out that Tony Hawk develops along side Activision.

I haven't seen Tony Hawk titles in years. Thought they stopped. I'm definitely gonna buy this. Always loved Tony Hawk.


Same here tony hawk back in the day was such awesome game glad there bringing it back


They are especially fun with friends. With cheats, playing normal, doesn't matter. Can't really go wrong with this game.

I miss the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3 where you could play as Darth Maul. That had to have been my fav.
