Battlefield 4 updates released on PS3 and PS4

DICE has rolled out a new BF4 patch for both of Sony's consoles. They are identical to each other while dealing with issues such as player spawning, audio/physics related issues, and other various miscellaneous issues all of which can be seen below..

PS3/PS4 game update Feb 21

Fix for an issue where spawning into, or switching to, a gunner seat in an IFV/MBT sometimes could cause the game to crash
Fix for missing sound in Team/Squad Deathmatch
Fix for an issue in the Defuse game mode, where a bomb carrier would be permanently spotted
Decreased the rate at which the kill card would incorrectly display 0 health, while the enemy was clearly alive
Fix for an invisible wall that was incorrectly present in one of the fallen concrete pipes on Zavod 311
Fix for an issue where bullet impact sounds weren't properly matching the actual number of impacts, causing the players to feel that they died too quickly.
Fix for an issue where the "Draw" message would not display on-screen once a Conquest round ended with both teams having the same amount of tickets
Fix for an issue where long IDs wouldn't scroll on dog tags
Fix for missing grass physics in terrain
Fix for an issue where the player camera would be positioned inside of the soldier when parachute spawning
Fix for a MAV exploit that let players reach various out-of-map locationsDICE


The Microsoft consoles and PC variations of this update was released on the 18th to coincide with the BF4: Second Assault expansion release on all platforms excluding the Xbox One which had to it early due to a exclusivity deal between Microsoft and DICE.

Glad this update was released. I had a few of the issues and they annoyed me.

we do, it's just playstation comes first. same as how on cod xbox is first

There is only some issues on here that Xbox has as well Like the 0 Health, and Missing Sound. I'm not to sure on the rest


Every system was awful, 360,PS3,One,PS4 and PC alike. The game was rushed.


Couldn't agree more. Developers have to stop rushing releases.


Yeah, the 0 health bug really was a big issue with a lot of people.


Yeah it was an issue on my end, it would happen every game, but I hope this definitely fixes it!

Nice to see a lot of fixes in the game for the PS3, i hope they do the same for xbox unless they already patched some up.
