Titanfall on PC is a 21GB download, requires 48GB install

The PC version of Titanfall will be a 21GB download, and will take up 48GB when installed.

Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella confirmed the figures on Twitter last week in response to a question posed by a fan.

Zampella also used the social networking site to reconfirm that the Xbox One version of Titanfall will take up less than 20GB when installed.

In late February, Microsoft announced a limited edition Xbox One Titanfall console bundle. It features special edition Titanfall packaging, an Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard wireless controller and chat headset, one month Xbox Live Gold membership and a digital copy of Respawn's shooter.

While publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe, the Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

I was sure the x1 copy was confirmed at over 20GB when installed.

Hype-- Imagine having bad internet, you would be waiting for ages.
The fact the download needs 48GB doesn't really bother me because I have a lot of hard drive space left on my computer, and relatively good internet so the download shouldn't take that long.
And yes I am still 100% picking up this game for PC when it drops.


I have terrible internet, I am not looking forward to this.

Yea that sucks for them but since they have a PC they probably have good connection.


Connection doesn't define if they have a PC or not. I have multiple friends who have bad internet but love playing games.

My internet is pretty quick so this game should only take me around 2 hours to download. I can't wait.
