Titanfall on PC is a 21GB download, requires 48GB install

4.6
The PC version of Titanfall will be a 21GB download, and will take up 48GB when installed.

Respawn Entertainment founder Vince Zampella confirmed the figures on Twitter last week in response to a question posed by a fan.

Zampella also used the social networking site to reconfirm that the Xbox One version of Titanfall will take up less than 20GB when installed.

In late February, Microsoft announced a limited edition Xbox One Titanfall console bundle. It features special edition Titanfall packaging, an Xbox One console, Kinect sensor, standard wireless controller and chat headset, one month Xbox Live Gold membership and a digital copy of Respawn's shooter.

While publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe, the Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Damn, that will take a long time, especially if your internet is bad.
It would take my mate like 3 days to download it lol, his speed is really bad and he will be mad at me when I download it in 1 hour.

slapshot101 this is a crazy amount of data. I can't wait to see the graphics and compare the PC to the next gen consoles, there has to be a massive difference if the end install amount is double the size on the PC. I can just imagine how long this is going to take to download on an internet connection especially on the first few days the games come out.

Did you play the beta? The PC graphics were not amazing you know

Sanctorum Not impressive at all. That's a huge amount of storage space for one game. If games continue like this, PC's will soon need 3TB+ HDD's.

people who say "if you have 1TB it's enough" or "you can't call it a gaming pc if you can't hold games", but if every game was 21GB+48GB, 1TB can only hold 14 games. not enough at all.

Yeah thats true but if you know what your doing them im sure you are smart enough not too get games that are pointless just get games you know you will play a lot too save space.

Yeah it is a ton of space, and your HDD will run out of memory if you download a lot of these games.
