Bioware's Star Wars of the Old Republic has seen a rise and fall in favor with fans since the title's late 2011 launch. After lackluster subscriptions numbers forced the game into going free-to-play it has made a surprising financial comeback due to both subscription figures and additional cash shop revenue. Through all of this the game's developer, Bioware, has been steadily releasing new content for the playerbase remaining including new operations, flashpoints, an expansion, and new pvp maps/gametypes.
At a recent cantina tour it leaked out that there would be player housing added to the game with little official confirmation to the news. Yesterday Bioware uploaded a video officially confirming the news, it can be found below.
Thornygull It's funny how Blizzard announces Garrisons (Player Housing) for World of Warcraft in Warlords of Draenor, and then shortly after, Bioware announces that they are practically doing the same thing. Coincidence? I think not.
You have to keep up with competition somehow.
Exactly why do you think Call of Duty developers make DLC for competition.

Fumikoi I love star war games. I might actually buy it.
Especially with the graphics games are coming with nowadays. Should be pretty cool.
I tried this game the other night or I should say tried to, but the download was going to take like all night long I honestly don't know why it said 100%, but was still unpacking.

Honestly I am looking forward to WoW:WD servers, so I can compile my own and bury myself in the lore!
