Xbox One Skype client receives first update

The Xbox One's Skype application has been updated with a few improvements with the most notable being improved chat and new contact filtering options. It also positively tweaks the synchronization of conversations between multiple Skype-enabled devices. It is intended to all your conversations "in sync" and work to reduce the number of messages you may miss.

Improved chat is now synchronized and comes with push notifications, alerting you when a new message arrives, and providing a longer chat history - up to 1,000 messages, rather than just the past 7 days.Skype

Its not really needed IMO but i am glad they are making the chat history longer cause i tend to look back on skype conversations.

Smog Well I cant even use any apps on my Xbox One, ever since I tried broadcasting from Twitch nothing opens and my xbox keeps freezing


Fully close all apps you're not using, don't leave them running. This can be a problem if you let the console go into standby instead of a full shut down.

I kind of wish they got rid of the chat history. Since I don't get on it that much I hate having to load up hundreds of messages I never saw or don't really care to see.

It's great to see that there improving the chat, on the Xbox One. I have been hearing people having some problems with the chat, and the chat is really laggy. Just some stuff like that.
