The blame really cant be out on Sony, blame it on the countries government for creating such a weak currency.

Trust me I understand what you're saying but at the end of the day it's not only the customers that might get shafted be this but also the shops. Think about it, if the base unit price increases the shops pay more, but then if they want to stay competitive and make sales then they'll have to lower their prices, thus cutting into their own profits.

Thats 100% correct someone passed economics :P but in all seriousness you got to understand Sony never has cared about any company but there own they make money and thats all that matters.

That person did not pass economics, nor did you. By increasing prices across the board, all shops now can offer their own sales. The ones with the best sales will sell more, which is good. It will end up increasing sales because customers are so stupid that they will see the PS4 as gaining value and attention. All in all, Sony will do well and the bigger shops who give better deals will do well too. Sony cares about their customers because if they did not, they would not be in business. For example, Sony's customer support rating has gone up every year since 2010, ergo they care and are improving for their customers.

This really sucks for Canada. They really cant increase the price drastically or they would lose sales. Even though that might be half their plan to save up consoles.

An increase? That's terrible news. Consoles should NEVER increase in price. I suppose, at least it is still a good price and it's not too high.

1 Canadian Dollar = 0.90 US Dollar. So $450 in Canada = $407 in US. So there are actually only playing $7 more not bad but the $70 game thing should be dropped to $65.

That's unlucky for the people in canada then haha.

I still think that ps4 is doing better then the xbox one but ps4 prices keep going up in some places but people will still buy it or they wouldn't put the price up on certain things.
