Titanfall bans being issued to cheaters

Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment has started banning cheaters.

Following confirmation that the studio has started to issue bans, developer Jon Shiring took to Twitter to explain that anti-cheat detection measures had been active since the launch of the game.

In early March Respawn said it was working hard to eliminate Titanfall cheaters: "Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We're logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly."

Titanfall debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats chart on Monday after enjoying the biggest launch of 2014 to date.

The game drove a 96 per cent increase in UK Xbox One sales during the week ended March 15.

Honestly in my opinion Titanfall is not a game to be hacking. Every gun is balanced basically you don't get titles or emblems like Cod. There really is no point to hack this game. Who cares about your rank you can rank up by playing the campaign its that easy, like come on really.

I wasn't expecting there to be many cheaters in Titanfall, I haven't seen any cheaters I don't think in any of my games.

I didnt think there would be cheaters as this is a new game and should be supervised 24/7

Anuvahood My Nephew has this game and it is SOOO GOOD!!!!!! Absolutely love it. A bit confused how there are cheaters on it. It hasn't even been a week yet!


There are cheaters on the PC version. There will be cheaters on the Xbox 360 too after a while and more than likely a topic will be made here shortly. Such a shame it's a brilliant game.
