Titanfall bans being issued to cheaters

Titanfall studio Respawn Entertainment has started banning cheaters.

Following confirmation that the studio has started to issue bans, developer Jon Shiring took to Twitter to explain that anti-cheat detection measures had been active since the launch of the game.

In early March Respawn said it was working hard to eliminate Titanfall cheaters: "Finding cheaters in Titanfall? So are we. We're logging them now and they will be rooted out shortly."

Titanfall debuted at No.1 on the UK all formats chart on Monday after enjoying the biggest launch of 2014 to date.

The game drove a 96 per cent increase in UK Xbox One sales during the week ended March 15.

I didn't know people were cheating already. Glad there doing this because I plan on buying this game.

At least unlike COD they follow through with the bans. It sucks to see a potentially great game being ruined so early.

I though they would have a good cheat protection on the game and why are people cheating the game is fun without cheating.

i have not seen one cheater and honestly didnt even know you could cheat in this game
