GTA Online soundtrack to receive new songs – sampler inside

Grand Theft Auto Online will receive a new selection of tracks from artists including Tangerine Dream and Alchemist as part of an incoming update.


In a musically-charged post on the Rockstar Newswire, the company gave insight into the music recording process, along with photos of Tyler the Creator and Woody Jackson laying down their tunes for the game.

Rockstar wrote, “As part of the ongoing content updates and evolution of the Grand Theft Auto Online experience, we’re also adding to the already massive original musical score that is heard exclusively Online. Modes such as Survival, Deathmatch as well as your own custom-made Creator Jobs will all be complemented with an updated range of never-before-heard unreleased instrumental music from the original scoring sessions by Tangerine Dream, Woody Jackson, Alchemist and Oh No.”

Can't wait to see what else they've added. I'll be pretty disappointed if it's just newer songs. Hope they had some old school rock and Hip Hop.

yea i do not sure how that has anything to do with i.It wouldnt take long to update the music every 2 weeks or even once a month to songs that are being played on the radio


You can't just play any song you please. You would need to get the rights to put the songs in the game first. That is a lot of work if you need to update it with new songs every 2 weeks.

I've already got all of the achievements on the game and I won't be playing it again until the dlc is out so this is useless to me, but it's good that they're doing it! :)

Dreams idk how they would do this but they outta just make the radio real time so it plays songs that are currently on the radio
