Resistance MP servers going offline for good on April 8th

It was previously reported that the multiplayer for Resistance: Fall of Man would be taken offline on March 28th but it's death has been delayed until April 8th for now. On April 3rd many Insomniac employees hopped back online to play the aging title with fans as one last hurrah, Resistance: Fall of Man launched on the PS3 in November of 2003 as a system launch title.

Lasted a pretty long time, ON egame that didn't last long before the servers were gone was homefront. I think it only lasted a few years.

You guys really never heard of this game? This game was one of the reasons i really wanted a ps3 in 06.
It was a good game at the time but now its like outdated

Obviously, there aren't too many or else they'd be expanding, not shutting down.

I've never personally heard of this game before. None the less it's always sad to see a game fade away into the darkness.

I never owned a PS3 but I would go to my friends house and play this game so much. This game was soo good, I even really enjoyed the multiplayer I wish I had a PS3 so I could play it one last time.

TIL after reading the comment section, I'm old compared to most people on this site.

Resistance was one of the best games ever released for the PS3 and was an exclusive title. That said, It was an amazing game for it 's 2006 release date.
