Netflix due to increase price for new members

4.1
The last time Netflix intended to up their price scaled was back in 2011 when they infamously split their Streaming and DVD rental services into standalone offerings. It has been gleaned from a Netflix quarterly financial report that the company is possibly going to implement a one or two dollar increase for new streaming only members; the old pricing is said to remain in effect for existing customers for a "generous time period." This increase in fee according to Netflix is needed in order to better allow them to acquire more content to increase the overall value of their landscape of media offerings.

I've had Netflix for a while now and I think it's worth it. Everyone in my family uses it and I use it a good amount so I definately think it's worth the money.

I stopped using Netflix i think it has become garbage, so switched to Hulu Plus. You guys should check it out if you haven't already.

Timed Hopefully it doesn't affect current members.

It ain't gonna effect current members, for a time period. But it will effect them, after this time period?

Did you even read the post? The information was right there.

I had the free 30 day trial and all I used it for was The US Office TV series. The movies on Netflix were very old, and I'd already seen most of them. In my opinion, I don't think it's worth the money you pay per month.

Supposedly this is to combat throttling from ISP mainly Comcast, they are passing on costs to Netflix which in turn is passed into us.
