Phil Spencer: Xbox One June and July Updates “Look Really Good”

Microsoft has just put the April Xbox One software update in the bag and is preparing to roll out the preview of the one for May, but Xbox Division head honcho Phil Spencer is already looking to those coming beyond next month, and apparently he likes what he’s seeing:
Monthly updates for June and July look really good, team is making good progress.

Unfortunately he did not give details on what kind of features we can expect, but he did respond to a fan that asked about the possibility of the implementation of an emulator for arcade games:
We kind of did that with Game Room on 360 and it surprised me but it wasn’t that successful.

While he didn’t comment further on that specific possibility, he admitted that more smaller games to ease the wait between big releases would be positive for the Xbox One:
I get the idea and I agree getting more smaller games is a good thing for the platform.

Spencer was also asked about whether the new IP by Lionhead will be an RPG, but he declined to comment on that yet.
Hopefully we’re going to hear more about it at E3 (my personal bet is on a MMORPG), but in the meanwhile we can start wondering on what kind of features Xbox’s software team has in store for us in the summer.

E3 is going to be good i mite try to go there next year

How much are the tickets E3?

Very expensive. Well over $500. The only way to profitably be there is to be a game reviewer for some company. Cause the reviewers and journalists and what not get in for free.

I'm pretty sure it's near impossible to get in unless you're in industry.

That would be awesome if they implemented some type of emulator. It would definitely get me to buy the Xbox One over the PS4 as I'm still waiting.

gtapro151 how about make the dashboard useable (ie. not laggy and buggy). "xbox snap party" (45 secs later) "we can not show you parties at this time please try again later" -_-.

Honestly they have fixed that issue for me and many others in the beta update
