NHL 15 on the Xbox One and PS4 is slated to included bran new rebuilt player models that feature three unique layers: the athlete's body, their equipment and their jerseys, with each layer acting independently of the others. The same technology used within upcoming EA Sports UFC titles can be found in NFL 15 that are hope to improve player likeness, animations, and improved arenas. While the next gen iterations of the title will see vast improvements it has been made clear that the current generation versions will be mostly the same touting only minimal improvements by comparison.
