It appears that Tom Clancy's The Division has been pushed back into 2015 despite previous claims of being set for a late 2014 launch window. The only reason given officially by the development team was that they wished to not "compromise on quality" while also telling fans that they should expect the game "when it's ready." We'll have more information for you during E3 2014 next month.
Working on The Division is a once in a lifetime opportunity for all of us at Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment. We are creating something we are really proud of and we don't want to . We are going to release the game when it's ready.Massive, Reflections, and Red Storm Entertainment
It kind of sucks that will we have to wait a few for months but hopefully they will be able to improve the game during that time which I am sure they will.
The graphics on this game look absolutely amazing and I can't wait to play it.
RobShepherdFTW Is this what this gen is gonna be all about? Delays? If so it's gonna suck.
Quality over quantity is a much better way for this generation to head. Launch titles sucked and most were broken or held unfulfilled promises. (Forza's crowds, Ryse's gameplay mechanics, Killzone's multiplayer, Battlefield's multiplayer, CoD) Nothing truly delivered what it promised so I'm glad to see the delays. They bring better finished products rather than playing a beta 2.0
YhCHKN This was the ONE game I didn't want to be pushed back!
Hopefully it'll be Q1 of 2015!
Cant' wait!
1) it was pushed back to bring quality rather than a rushed product with empty promises.
2) The Division was never given a date. It was speculated to possibly come out late this year but obviously wasn't too far in production considering all the other press releases they've done with the Snowdrop engine and the images it's created (practically no new info since E3).
