New Minecraft PS4 and Xbox One screens flaunt improved draw distance

4J studios have posted some comparison screens showing the larger depth of field coming to the PS4 and Xbox One Minecraft ports.

The visuals appeared on 4J studios Twitter page and compare shots from PS3 and Xbox 360 with their 8th gen counterparts. You’re going to be able to see a lot more of the Minecraft worlds on PS4 and Xbox One as shown in the images below.

According to 4J a world size 36 times larger than before is being tried out with the PS4 and Xbox One Minecraft ports but the new versions still won’t be able to create the infinite world maps of the PC game.

If moving over to the 8th gen versions you will be able to transfer your saved worlds across from PS3 to PS4 and from Xbox 360 to Xbox One. While there’s no official release date for the new versions they are currently expected to be available by September.

It really isn't that much of an improvement. But, glad to see that they are trying to get it to PC standards.

Aggie People complaining about buying it again, remember when Gamestop had a deal where you hand in your current gen and get a next gen for $10.00 so that might happen with minecraft you get a discount!


Most peoples is digital download copy because it was released first

I like how this is being added into the next gen versions. I'm really excited for Minecraft for the Xbox One.

I like how everyone is complaining about buying it again. Ya sure it's annoying but the game it self only cost $20 and you can buy one brand new game for $60. So that means you can get 3 copies of minecraft for the price of one game such as like watchdogs. I hope I explained it. Don't get me wrong I don't feel like we should have I pay for the game more then once but that's how they make there money.
