I thought the same thing. I thought Japan would be one of the first to get the consoles. And the price is a little less than it is here!

not sure about anyone else but the fact per payslip you could see a fairly large number deposoited into your bank instead of say a few thousand at the end of the month would be more enjoyable i reckon.
also a currency like yen allows more market price play and stuff such as that.

Whey Seems like a lot saying nearly 50,000 yen, however that is just 291 GBP.
Anyhow, this price seems fairly reasonable considering here in the UK the console with the sensor it 300 pounds.
It's 400 in the UK, not 300. 109 cheaper in Japan.
