Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC “Pharaoh” Map Preview

After yesterday’s first look at Call of Duty: Ghosts’ upcoming Invasion DLC, developer Infinity Ward is launching a set of daily preview videos for each of the four new multiplayer maps and Extinction Episode 3: Awakening leading up to its release on June 3.

Today’s preview is all about Pharaoh, an abandoned archeological site of an ancient Egyptian palace. Infinity Ward says players must be on the look out for collapsing monuments and urns full of flesh-eating scarabs, among other surprises. Areas inside the palace offer close-quarters combat scenarios where short-range weapons will shine.

Those who complete the map-specific Field Order will be rewarded by Anubis, the half-jackal/half-human and protector of the dead.

I should really get ghosts now just to try it out, this map looks pretty sick.

I really enjoyed some of this DLC, the Favela remake was really good and I love the AC-130 field order. Pharaoh wasn't that good but the whole concept behind it was cool and I really liked some other the things we could destroy to block paths and kill some enemies. Hopefully the final DLC will be amazing and will be mostly if not all remade maps from both MW2 and MW3, maybe evan a COD4 remake like Shipment.

Like the design choices they're making in these maps, I think I will get this DLC. Looks fun!

Love this map pack. Best is that Favela is coming back. My favourite map of call of duty history!
