Call of Duty: Ghosts Invasion DLC “Pharaoh” Map Preview

After yesterday’s first look at Call of Duty: Ghosts’ upcoming Invasion DLC, developer Infinity Ward is launching a set of daily preview videos for each of the four new multiplayer maps and Extinction Episode 3: Awakening leading up to its release on June 3.

Today’s preview is all about Pharaoh, an abandoned archeological site of an ancient Egyptian palace. Infinity Ward says players must be on the look out for collapsing monuments and urns full of flesh-eating scarabs, among other surprises. Areas inside the palace offer close-quarters combat scenarios where short-range weapons will shine.

Those who complete the map-specific Field Order will be rewarded by Anubis, the half-jackal/half-human and protector of the dead.

Miss That didn't look that much like Favela. Maybe a bit, but like a desert version.

It's not Favela, the remake is shown at the end of the video.


The picture says 'Favela'. Is it going to be called the same thing?


Isn't it basically a remake of that map? And I don't think it'll be called the same thing, lol.

Not really to hyped for this Dlc, but since i have the season pass i guess i give it a try.

Maggardo This map reminds me of the Zombie map Shangri-La. It also reminds me of a World at War map.


I can kind of see what you mean, but not really. There isn't enough jungle terrain for me to see the map that way.
