Call of Duty: Ghosts Favela remake shown in new video

Activision has released a new video showing off another map from the latest DLC pack coming to Call of Duty: Ghosts.

This is the Favela map, a remake of the fan-favorite Modern Warfare 2 map of the same name. The video shows the map being played in Blitz.

Titled Invasion, the DLC will add four new small-to-medium sized multiplayer maps, including a refreshed version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's Favela, plus a fresh mission for the Extinction co-op mode.

Invasion launches on Xbox 360 and Xbox One on June 3. It's available as part of the game's season pass, or on its own for £8.06 / $14.99. DLC packs typically release about a month later on PC and PlayStation consoles.

This is a cool map and all, but I don't want it back. Such a waste. Could have made an entirely new map, and didn't.

SamBoy991 DIDNT anyone notice this is the exact same gameplay they used in MW2. Where they were playing on favela and this is exactly what happened. With the 2 guys, one with a riot shield. The AC-130 in the air.. Like this is not even people legit playing. Its all scripted shooting as this is the EXACT same as a MW2 trailer.. Good work IW. LOL


lmao, yeah I noticed the same thing. I'm sure they did that to add to the "remake" feel of it all though.

Same. Highrise is my favorite map of any Call of Duty game out there. The times where you can kill the entire enemy team in 5 seconds, throwing knives from on top the building to the bomb planting points. I'll never forget where people would run to jump off the map when a nuke got called in.

Hei I love how this is not how CoD Ghosts plays, all the enemies in that video acted like bots.

Lol, I was wondering the same thing. Too bad I'm not buying, I'm done wasting money on map packs.

I saw this a few hrs ago on some news post and OMG looks awesome i'm glad they're remaking the great map.
