E3 2014: Minecraft for the PlayStation 4 gets new trailer

Minecraft was recently announced for an August release on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One. The PS4 and Xbox one versions of the game feature much larger world sizes than the previous generation’s console versions. Today, Sony posted a new trailer for the game on their Youtube channel, featuring skins of beloved PlayStation characters like Kratos, Ratchet, Clank, and Nathan Drake. These skins are currently available as DLC for the PS3 version of the game – we’re assuming that this means they’ll be available on PS4 as well. No word on whether the DLC purchases carry over.

Katsumi Hmm.. i can't honestly say that i am too interested in Minecraft for the PlayStation 4. In my opinion PC is the better platform


Yea I would still go with PC but once in a while I might play it on my xbox one

I couldn't see them having any more from the get-go. Maybe in an update in the future that may happen though

AR15 I feel as if even though console Minecraft is farther behind on updates then PC is, I feel that the game is more fun on console. With friends and what not.


Its a lot more enjoyable, although that is because its simple. Nowadays I and pretty much everyone else has a ton of mods installed to the point where you're not playing the original game anymore.

Does look good, although I stick by you should get Minecraft for PC. Mods make the game a lot more fun.
