Video: Rainbow Six Siege trailer

A new trailer for Rainbow Six Siege shows off the game's tactically destructible environments.

Set for release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC in 2015, Siege is described as a co-op multiplayer-focused game in which hostage-taking criminals have the means to transform their environments into strongholds, while Rainbow Six teams lead assaults to breach them.

Ubisoft announced the latest entry in the Rainbow Six series during its E3 2014 stage show in June.

Producer Sebastien Labbe has hinted that the studio may launch a Rainbow Six Siege beta ahead of the game's release next year:

"What I can say is that for sure, we're no different from the other online shooters. We want to be online - we're providing a strong PVP game, and if we want that we need to create a community. So if we wait until the launch, I expect it will be too late.

Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot explained the difficult decision to transform the long-delayed Rainbow Six: Patriots into Siege in an E3 interview.

I am so excited for this game. Other then Battlefront 3, this was the game I saw and was so excited for once the E3 conference was over. It look really good and fun on next gen. I am however a bit concerned that it might not be a lot to the game and that it might get boring really fast but hopefully they have ways to vary and change it up to keep it exciting.

I've only played a few Rainbow Six games in the past, however after seeing this trailer, it seriously looks like I would enjoy this game!

Im not expecting this to be good, they disappointed us GR fans with that horrible future soldier, i just cant see them making anything better than the last RS.

Smurfs I've never played any of the Rainbow Six games, but the trailer for this game looks very good. I think I will probably end up getting this game.
