Destiny Had Over 4 Million Players During its Beta

The Destiny beta was a beast, with Activision announcing today that 4,638,937 players participated in the early access stress test of the game launching September 9.

"Hosting a beta at this scale is an incredible feat, so we're thrilled to see the phenomenal response. But the beta is just a taste of what's to come," said Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg. "This is the biggest beta of this console generation by a wide margin and the largest console beta ever for a new video game IP to date."

This beta when a lot better then the Titanfall Beta did last year. I didn't get to play the beta as I was out of town during the few days it was out for the Xbox. I have seen some gameplay of it and it look pretty good but I have to talk with a few people who played the beta before I make a final decision on weather to buy the full game when it comes out.

If you like replaying the same mission for hours to grind out money for a weapon this is for you thou



You won't hve to replay the same missions for hours, I'm sure the final game will have plenty of missions.
