Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition Lets You Play One Day Early

4.4
Sweetening an already pretty sweet deal, Call of Duty publisher Activision has announced today that it will offer an entire day of early access to Sledgehammer Games’ Advanced Warfare to any and all who pre-order one of the game’s various collector’s editions.

That means if you’ve pre-ordered either the Atlas Limited Edition, Atlas Pro Edition, or Digital Pro Edition, you’ll be able to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare on November 3, a day ahead of it’s worldwide launch on November 4.

In addition, the Day Zero Edition will also offer Double XP for on November 3 for those playing early, as well as two special bonus weapons on top of the previously announced Advanced Arsenal pack pre-order bonus.

Quantities are limited, says Activision in the latest press note, and will only be available at participating retailers. Retailers not participating may, instead, offer a pre-order refund or a download code providing access to all the bonus Day Zero Edition content.

We find the announcement rather intriguing, as an offering of early access to a massive triple-A title like Call of Duty is mostly unheard of when it comes to video-game pre-orders. What do you think? Does the incentive tip you over the edge just enough to drop some cash on a collector’s edition? Tell us in the comments.

Sledgehammer Games unveiled Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s highly-anticipated multiplayer for the first time today, giving fans a first look via an over-the-top trailer. You can watch it here, if you missed it.

Advanced Warfare launches November 4, or November 3, on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC. Keep your sights on MP1st for all your Call of Duty needs.

Cokes I can only imagine the wannabe "MLG" people would be the ones to actually do this.

what by having a game a day early so MLG

I usually don't pre-order the game and just go get it the day it releases since it always seems like the stores have a plentiful supply of the game. I am actually going to pre-order this one though because of the One day early bonus and other in-game content you get from it.

I am wondering if you will be able to go to the store and pick up the game on the 3rd of November or what?

That's fair play, more games should do this I think it's a nice gesture being able to play a day early, doesn't mean you have to pay extra to play it early, it just means the ones that are paying extra, gets it a day early, don't get why people are moaning - it's more than most devs do

Miss YES! Let's pay an extra $100 just to play the game one day before most people, seems logical.

why would you need to pay an extra $100 when you can just pre order for normal price and you will still get day zero access -_-

Because you get cool stuff in game that is totally worth $100 dollars. *sarcastic tone*
