GMOD would be amazing!
I doubt Gmod would work on Xbox though, or any console really. The core part of Gmod is mods, and the thing is Microsoft wont let you download mods for any games. It was the same with Minecraft, the fun part about it was downloading maps, skins, texture pack and mods for free but on Xbox theres limited skins& texture packs that you have to pay for. If Gmod were to come to consoles, it would be extremely restricted compared to the PC version.

It won't Gary Newman is way to into the PC master race to make a dumbed down port. He already denied Rust for the consoles over twitter.
