Rockstar previously announced that all pre-orders of the new-gen version will be rewarded with an in-game payment of $1,000,000, split evenly between the single-player campaign and multiplayer mode.
According to US listings, customers who pre-order on the PlayStation Store by November 3 will receive an extra $300,000 to spend in GTA Online. GTA V for PS4 is not yet listed in the UK PlayStation Store.
Microsoft has not announced an equivalent deal for Xbox Marketplace pre-orders - it may be that the multiplayer cash payout is the PS4-exclusive bonus teased shortly after the announcement of the PC, PS4 and Xbox One versions.
According to an alleged leak, the digital PS4 version of GTA V will have a minimum install size of 50GB.
The Grand Theft Auto V release date for PS4 and Xbox One is November 18, 2014. The PC version of the game, which was originally expected to debut alongside the new-gen console versions this autumn, will be released on January 27, 2015.
In addition to increased draw distances and higher resolution, Rockstar says players can expect numerous improvements including denser traffic, a new foliage system, enhanced damage and weather effects, and more radio selections, with over 100 additional songs and DJ mixes.
