Tony Hawk working on a new console game

Tony Hawk has revealed he's working on a new console game with publisher Activision.

He made the announcement while confirming that another project, the previously announced free-to-play endless runner Tony Hawk's Shred Session, has been "put on hold indefinitely".


Activision has handled publishing duties for the Tony Hawk series since its debut in 1999. The franchise's most recent console release was 2012's HD remake of the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

The Tony Hawk games have always been a smash, the Pro Skater series were the game I grew up with. I am looking forward to this game as it would be fun reliving the joy I once experienced from the games. Hopefully it isn't limited to new-gen consoles as that would be a disappointment.

Pretty good news. I hope it's like Project 8 though. That was the only Tony Hawk game I ever liked after the PS1 games.

If they go with the skate controls, this game is going to be great. Otherwise I probably won't play it


It will probably have similar controls or the same, either way the game will be awesome.

Never played Pro Skater but I've played THAW and THUG. Might look in to this game once more info surfaces.
