CoD Advanced Warfare patch to include bug fixes, connectivity issues

Sledgehammer Games has provided an overview of an upcoming Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare update.

Expanding on a list of planned improvements detailed last week, Sledgehammer co-founder and studio head Michael Condrey said the patch will include a number of bug fixes and connectivity optimisations:

Update overview:

Prestige reset issues, including emblems and challenges.
Adjustment to the in-game chat names notifications placement.
Fix for weapon reloads counting as speed reloads in certain circumstances.
Connectivity optimizations.
Fix for stats accumulating towards leaderboards after prestiging.
Adjustment to challenges to unlock Camos for weapons.
Fix for round-based game modes, affecting Win/Loss ratios.
Implemented ability to unlock eSports Rule options in Private Match.

Condrey also shared the following statement from Activision on the status of dedicated server support for the game:
Advanced Warfare employs game servers hosted at data centers globally on all platforms and listen servers as part of our proprietary matchmaking system. Our goal is to ensure the best possible connection and greatest gameplay experience regardless of location and time of day.

I don't even keep track of all the patches and how many they have and what they all do, theres so many of them at the start of a new cod I don't really care about when a new update is released.

These are great fixes to the game, and I honestly love it. This has to be my favorite call of duty.

I originally thought that your emblem would reset every time you would prestige. Thankfully it was only a glitch.

It's amazing they haven't changed the spawns. It's unreal how many times I spawn and get shot right away (mostly from behind). I hope they come out with another update soon to address these spawns, because I almost makes this game unplayable.

Thank god. I usually work for the camos in Call of Dutys and these camos would be impossible if they don't change them!

This is gonna end up like ghosts where the only answer they would give about the dedicated servers was that they were rolling them out over time. Keep promising each month they are being rolled out then before you know it a new cod is being released. Microsoft offers dedicated servers for all games on their console so why are they not being used?

I really hope the camo challenge adjustments are what I'm thinking they are because those challenges are just ridiculous!

th3bagofdirt Yea i prestiged for the second time and unlocked the mahem but i went to use it and it was locked.... Will the update make it unlocked cause i permaunlocked it?


You still need to unlock the base version of the gun first in order to use Mahem.
