Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence Pack' adding five more maps on June 3rd

Modern Warfare 2’s second map pack, Resurgence, follows a formula set by its predecessor; two old maps, three new, for 1200MS Points / $15.

Community man Robert Bowling detailed the contents of the package on Xbox Live’s Larry ‘Major Nelson’ Hryb’s podcast yesterday, revealing that the returning maps are Vacant, a wide open Russian office complex, and the urban town on Strike. New ones include Carnival (an abandoned theme park), the super tight and maze-like Trailer Park, and Fuel, a “sniper heaven” and one of the biggest multiplayer maps yet.

Activision PR has also shot over a shot from each of the maps. See them below.

Resurgence will arrive on Xbox Live on June 3rd, followed by PS3/PC releases at a later date

Oh, I thought the last DLC for MW2 and all of the WAW and COD:4 DLC came out on Tuedays.
