Almost 50,000 fans want Modern Warfare 2 remade for PS4 and Xbox One

A growing petition is calling for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to be remade on PS4 and Xbox One.

The petition went live four days ago and has already gathered over 47,000 signatures from like-minded players.

Created by Ramez Zahra, the petition is targeted at Activision and Infinity Ward to remake the fan-favourite. If you want to add your voice, head on over and put you name down.

WELL DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH dam i been said this it will sell like crazy why dont they do it! the new ones are terrible. dont even have to rethink ideas just up the graphics add more maps and guns

While I can't say I am against this entirely, I'm just not sure they should do it. Call of Duty releases every year. If it came out like Halo, then it could make sense since they could release it in a "dry" period. Since it doesn't, it just feels like they are postponing new ideas. Who knows though, maybe that extra thinking time could help. If it ever goes through though, I hope they do something with some of the perks. Some of those ruined it quite a bit.

Cod 4, this is the game that should be remade, campaign and multiplayer were the best of all the games so far.

WaW doesn't have enough active players to warrant it.

Apparently Mw2 does.

remade... not the same. Just like GTA, remade for a newer console. Not that difficult for a billion dollar company to do.


I agree, As long as it is exactly the same I would like this. No need to make it a buy game like AW.


I'm not saying it would be hard, but why does everyone want to play the same game that's "remastered for the newest-gen console"

Am I the only one who thinks MW2 was overrated? CoD 4 and WaW were way better than MW2 in my opinion. They should remake those games first before entering Sniper/Grenade Launcher Warfare 2.

This petition won't get anyone anywhere. There have been others like this with more votes and the devs just ignore it.
