Xbox Consoles Will Receive Early Access To GTA 5 DLC In Future

That's according to financial research site Bidnessetc, which claims various sources have confirmed that Microsoft are eager to land an early access deal for its two consoles.

It will apparently follow in the same vein as existing deals with the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare series, appearing a full month ahead of other platforms when it comes to the planned DLC packages.

It was reported earlier this year that Rockstar were working on added single-player content, following the release of Online Heists and GTA 5 for the PC.

The DLC looks set to build on the story of the three existing characters, Trevor, Michael and Franklin, who are all found to be alive and kicking after the endgame events.

The site also concludes that an announcement regarding the DLC is planned for E3 2015, while Microsoft fans 'can expect special treatment from Rockstar'.

The studio originally announced that further adventures connected with Michael, Franklin and Trevor would be released by the end of 2014, but have failed to materialise due to the workload of releasing the new improved GTA 5 for Xbox one, PS4 and PC.

Franklin actor Shawn Fonteno revealed earlier this year that he was currently finishing up GTA 5 story DLC.

They should stop worrying about DLC and put all their effort into creating another game. Unless they have some sort of amazing DLC they're going to come out with.

Not surprising really, expected Microsoft to pull something like this, but aslong as it isn't exclusives then I wouldn't mind too much.

News... it's just a thing that everyone knows, all the big games that come out DLC is always a first for xbox.

Xbox almost always gets the first batch of major DLC for any game. I don't feel this was news worthy. Except for the fact that this does confirm they've finally got something aside from 'Beach Bum' packs and what not.
