Xbox Live Goes Down Yet Again, Lizard Squad Claims Responsibility

Xbox Live social services including friend list, party chat and logging in are currently suffering from connectivity issues on Xbox One and Xbox 360.

At the time of writing the Xbox Live Status page does not currently reflect the problems, but we can confirm that the service is having difficulties.

The Xbox Support Twitter did acknowledge service problems as well as down detector.

Xbox Live and PSN took a hit last year when the Lizard Squad were running rampant but it seems the group is back to their old tricks once again.

Lizard Squad just needs to stop. I mean, are they doing it for the fun of it again? That's really pathetic if they are. They need to do something better with their lives instead of hacking stuff for the fun of it. This is getting annoying. Microsoft needs to upgrade their security or do something about Lizard Squad.

Here we go again, turns this into a Xbox v Playstation console war. This is why I hate looking at the news because if anything happens to PS then Xbox owners are in the PS news like "that's why you get a Xbox m8"

Oh and just to add, when LizardSquad did the Xmas ddos to both consoles, I was still playing the two days that it happened.
