PlayStation Network Back Up and Running After Six Hours of downtime

After about six hours of intermittent downtime, with connectivity going back up for a few minutes, and then flatlining again for many users, the PlayStation Network has now resumed regular operations, as indicated by the official status page.



Above you can see the graph of the reports on DownDetector, showing a chronological representation of the issues.

i love ps4 microsoft and sony do have the money there using it on new damn consoles and tv product ect.

If I am correct, Xbox goes down all the time lately too. There is NO NEED to start crap like this. No one cares what you prefer.

I don't see how the security is better for Xbox... Lizard Squad has taken down Xbox Live several times (last time being just less than a month).


Really? My Xbox Live has been working everyday for a very long time, maybe could be something to do with the hours they take it down.


Just like the last like every time PSN has apparently gone down bar once over Christmas, I have been able to get on.
