PlayStation Network Back Up and Running After Six Hours of downtime

After about six hours of intermittent downtime, with connectivity going back up for a few minutes, and then flatlining again for many users, the PlayStation Network has now resumed regular operations, as indicated by the official status page.



Above you can see the graph of the reports on DownDetector, showing a chronological representation of the issues.

Agreed. They are becoming more and more like EA. Have the money but can't be bothered to fix things

Tbf on FIFA, they don't know how to stop the coin farming.

You do understand that it's not about security. That's not how DdoS works. It works via multiple clients flooding a server with packet/requests to the point the server cannot run. It's impossible to prevent.

Anyone can get ddos. No matter how much security they have some one spending loads of money of servers to ddos that heavily cannot be stopped. If they used what they did on psn against your network it'd probably explode lol
