Update: PSN Service Experiencing Issues On PS3 and PS4, Again

PSN appears to be down again as users are reporting issues with PlayStation Network and its service on the PS3 and PS4.

The reports are emerging from Twitter, reddit and DownDetector. Even the official support page has listed PSN as having issues with Account Management and PlayStation Store.

Status: Sunday, May 17th 2015 3:45 am PDT

This is the second time PSN has experienced issues this weekend. The last time this happened, it was apparently the work of a hacker group, although there is no info yet on the downtime cause this time around.

Update: As of 9:44 a.m. Pacific / 12:44 p.m. Eastern, Sony is reporting all services up and running. Previous problems with sign-in and account management have been rectified.

Looking back Ps had alott of downtime, feel quite bad for PS users now.

Lol. This is legit like the 5th article from this month with PSN having downtime, it's so pathetic tbh. I feel bad for console users.

DPM PSN is actually pretty good for the majority of the time, its just now and then it goes down. People seem to go on like it's down every day but if anything XBL goes down more than PSN for me (So far this year anyway)


No defo not. And even when Xbox are "down" its for some people and for a short amount of time. PSN go down for hours and even days.

They are honestly just a nuisance now. They have no reason to do this other than the reason that they are just annoying.
