Fallout 4 coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC – watch the first trailer

Fallout 4′s website and trailer have both gone live, confirming the game is coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One and the game takes place in Boston and the surrounding state of Massachusetts.

The trailer was taken in-game, according to Bethesda, and the world premiere of the game will take place during the company’s E3 Showcase on June 14 at 7pm PDT/10pm EDT and streamed live via Twitch and YouTube.

“We know what this game means to everyone,” said game director, Todd Howard. “The time and technology have allowed us to be more ambitious than ever. We’ve never been more excited about a game, and we can’t wait to share it.”

The website has links to pre-orders from various retailers such as Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy, but the links don’t seem to be pointing to a Fallout 4 listing just yet.

Yesterday, Bethesda started teasing Fallout 4′s reveal through a countdown site, the source code showed the game was coming to the aforementioned platforms, as well as PS3 and Xbox 360. Neither platform was noted in the trailer.

At some point earlier today, the trailer for the game went live, and Reddit user mihkukas pulled a still from it. Even more images for the game have appeared on NeoGAF. It shows a dilapidated Scollay Square, which is in Boston. Compare the screengrab with the postcard image below

Cyimking Looks like it's almost if not fully completed. Just filled with bugs like other fallout games. Looks pretty big and I wonder if you start the game before the nuke then continue to play the game after the nuke is dropped.


How on Earth can you tell if it's almost fully completed but filled with bugs?!

You're missing out then, don't start on this game though at least go back to Fallout 3. I'd suggest playing 1 and 2 as well though.

Deranged They need to stop making ps3 and 360 games already and focus on getting everything they can out of the ps4/xbox 1

I'd give that trailer a solid 9/10. Looks like it's going to be a really good game, hopefully really long as well.

Ive been waiting for this for so long. This was probably the 2nd biggest game not announced before today. If this come out this year and it lives up to the hype, it will win almost every Game of The Year award.
Also, I don't mean to sound like an elitist but get this ge on PC. Historicly, Bethesda games have been far superior on PC because of mods and the larger community. Don't take my word but go watch Todd Howard (Bethesda's Head Game Director) say this in a video with Notch.
