Fallout 4 isn’t coming to PS3 or Xbox 360 as it “will never work”

Fallout 4 isn’t in development for last-gen consoles, despite what the official website’s source code showed earlier this week.


According to a post on NeoGAF from Bethesda’s global community lead Matt Grandstaff, Fallout 4 will skip last-gen because the “stuff we’re doing will never work there,” he said.

When Bethesda officially announced Fallout 4 on June 3, neither PS3 nor Xbox 360 were mentioned, which isn’t really much of a surprise. The source code, which I am not super great at interpreting for any website, may have been referring to other content on the back end.

Whatever the case, it’s for PC, PS4 and Xbox One only.

Bethesda’s E3 showcase will take place the Sunday evening before E3 and the media will get a 20-30 minute behind closed doors demo at the annual E3 show. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the latest entry in the series come June 14.

Ciniti Good to see actually. Games should be made to perfection to work on current gen. I think old gen is holding back certain games to be fair.

Right? Idk what the big deal is with all these PC Master Race nerds thinking that they're entitled to a game being exclusive to PC only. I play on both PC and console, but I enjoy my time on consoles way more than PC's.

Its not telling you to buy Next Gen lolol. The game is supposedly going to have seamless interiors jackass meaning you won't have a loading screen going into buildings or atleast thats what everybody is saying based off the trailer since that was ingame and not pre-rendered. A 360 struggles to load halo forge maps at 20 fps. Why would anybody expect this onlast gen?

That must be why all of PCs exclusive titles of 2015 look super photorealistic and does not suck at all (sarcasm)
