Sony’s E3 2015 presentation was full of surprises.

The conference began with Sony’s traditional montage, which included Destiny, Mad Max and Uncharted 4 among dozens of others.

The Last Guardian Gameplay (PS4)

Sony introduced the first trailer for The Last Guardian It’s launching in 2016, presumably on PS4.
No release date was announced, but Hello Games said it promises there’ll be one soon.

No Man's Sky - E3 2015 Gameplay

Hello Games cofounder Sean Murray began the demo in a hangar, then launched into an ongoing space battle. Murray claimed the game is a "universe-sized sandbox", and that these kinds of battles are taking place across that entire universe. Players will be able to take sides in those battles, which are being fought by warring factions.

Horizon Zero Dawn Gameplay Trailer (PS4)

Guerrilla Games turned up next to unveil its new IP – Horizon: Zero Dawn. The Killzone developer has left futuristic shooters behind for what seems to be an open world survival, exploration and combat.

The trailer suggested crafting will be featured. No details were given.

Hitman PS4 Trailer

Sony revealed the all-new Hitman game during its E3 2015 press conference on Monday.

The world-reveal video did not feature gameplay, with publisher Square Enix opting instead to portray the game's themes via a cinematic trailer. Agent 47 returns to star, along with Diana Burnwood, who faked her death in the last game, Hitman Absolution.

Shenmue 3 Trailer (PS4)

Yu Suzuki is doing a Kickstarter for Shenmue 3 and it debuted live on Sony’s stage.

Dreams Trailer (PS4)

At Sony's E3 2015 press conference Media Molecule's Alex Evans explained that users would be able to create their own objects, places and characters by using the Dualshock 4's motion controls. Whether that's the only way to tinker with your digital trinkets remains unknown.

At any rate, players will be able to share what they create, then adapt others' work for their own means. So if you want to take a ninja character someone else made, then give them a flower sunhat in your make-believe world, you can do that.

Uncharted 4. Embarrassingly, there were a few problems with the demo – it took forever to boot up, and restart part way through.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Multiplayer Reveal Trailer

Sony confirmed that map packs will come to PS4 first from Black Ops 3, and will be the first to try the multiplayer beta, which starts in August.

“PlayStation is the new home of Call of Duty,” House said, and somehow resisted the urge to flip off Microsoft as he left the stage.
