Xbox One gets new firmware today

It’s been a quiet few months at Microsoft camp when it comes adding new features to the Xbox One’s OS. This month is not too different, unfortunately.

Major Nelson announced the new update with a short message. The reason is because it doesn’t bring any new user-facing features, only behind-the-scenes work.

Mianly, it further prepares the console for game streaming, which launches with Windows 10 this month. It also prepares the console for the backwards compatibility feature.

Major Nelson adds that the Xbox team is focused on the upcoming UI overhaul, which is due in the fall.

Suppose if they'd try fix as many problems as possible more people will buy it,

NoH Seeing as though the console seems to be kind of stable now that it has been released for a while I think it may be time to go out and purchase one, the prices have also dropped significantly.
get the 1TB one with like the forza bundle if u like a car game

Yeah for real im glad they are doing this and unmodded console is prob the greatest thing since pc vac services .


I'm sure someone will be able to mod theses consoles soon enough


Be interesting when it finally happens.


Hopefully it doesn't it would be good to have a console without any hacks etc


Xbox 360 had mods and i didnt mind it
