Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be free with Xbox One consoles

Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be available bundled with Xbox One consoles as a free pack-in.

Selected retailers will offer the Gears of War: Ultimate Edition Xbox One bundle from August 25.

You can already pre-order the bundle from the Microsoft store for $350 – the regular RRP for a 500GB unbundled console.

It includes a 500GB console, a controller, a 14 day Xbox LIVE Gold trial, a download code for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, access to the Gears 4 beta and a skin for Cole.

Somewhat mysteriously, Microsoft told Polygon the bundle is only available “while supplies last” – even though the bundled product is digital. Odd.

The deal was revealed at at San Diego Comic-Con today, during a panel led by The Coalition boss Rod Fergusson. Gears of War: Ultimate Edition launches on August 25.

Teravainen Is the console going to have a cool design on it? Sounds like a pretty sick deal.

I am suspicious about a Gears design on this console. But they might release one later which will have a really cool Gears design.

I might just get an xbox one just to play this Gears Of War is an amazing game i played Gears back when i was about 9 and im 17 now and i didnt think id still play it but its just a game thats going to live with me.

Shit. If there is I'll get rid of my AW console fast as hell. I have the Gears 3 console. Might as well add a Gears 1 console to the collection. They did give away a LE Gears console at comic con I believe. Was white and had Marcus on it I think. Looked sick af though.
