PS4 Owners Campaign For A Better PSN

People exaggerate a lot when it comes to the PlayStation Network, but there's absolutely no doubt that the service could be better. You may recall that earlier in the year we reported on a movement among users regarding the demand for a Better PSN – well, the initiative hasn't fizzled out. Fans have created a new website in which ideas can be shared, rated, and promoted on social media. It's all very Web 2.0, and should prove a useful tool for Sony if it gets enough use.

At the time of typing, the most demanded PlayStation 4 feature is the ability to appear offline, which strikes us as a minor thing. We like the sound of the second highest rated suggestion, however, which requests improved user profiles capable of displaying wishlists and gameplay statistics. Other highly placed ideas include increased cloud storage space – an absolute must – and login notifications.

I was considering buying a PS4 but it has to many issues, that kinda makes me not want to buy it.

I'm surprised that PSN doesn't have thanks feature, if that was me hen I would have moved to Xbox/PC much earlier

The number 1 feature that I want, is the ability to change your name. I've had an account, with the same name ever since 2008. I finally just made a new account, because I hated the idea of having the same name from before. And now, I am ready to change my name again. That is something I really want. I also want the ability to appear offline, I hate playing sometimes, and not being able to appear offline, because sometimes, I just want to play alone, or with a small group of friends and not have people constantly messaging me about stuff. And also sending me random invites to parties and games, but still be online.

Yes lets all switch to the lower-end console that costs the same and has an terrible menu. Even with all the things PSN lacks I would still prefer it to the Xbox One. Hell, I'd prefer the 360 over the one if it weren't for the graphics. The console is meant for Netflix and TV.


PS4s dashboard is just as confusing as xbox one if not more. Lower-end in what way, most of the games preform exactly the same

The PS4 dash is literally known for being easy to use unlike the Xbox One which is difficult to use. "Lower-end", funny you say this considering the fact that the Xbox One dashboard is a bunch of different colored blocks.


With the name of what it is right in the middle of it? Its just a version of windows 8. Which 80% of people know how to use...

the playstaion was never the problem when switching from xbox it was PSN itself the console was great the network was shit.
