Red Dead loses the top spot in Xbox One backward compatibility poll

Black Ops 2 has knocked Red Dead Redemption from the top spot for the most requested game for Xbox One backward compatibility.

It’s a close call between the two – only last week, Red Dead Redemption was topping the chart with over 3,000 more votes than Black Ops 2.

As of today, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 has 78,245 votes, while Red Dead Redemption is in second place with 76, 225.

In fact, the Call of Duty series seems to be crawling its way up the chart. Mass Effect 3 has been bumped out of the top 10 by Modern Warfare 2, while Halo: Reach and Gears of War 3 have each dropped down one, to be replaced by the CoD games they previously had the lead on.

How much Call of Duty do these people need? They come out every year. My vote has gone to Red Dead Redemption, like that of any other sane human being.

Here are the top 10 requested games as it currently stands:

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Red Dead Redemption
Skyrim
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
Halo: Reach
Call of Duty: Black Ops
Gears of War 3
Fallout 3

Rin Red Dead is a way better game than BO2. And if I don't recall, almost everyone was bashing BO2 for not being an MW2 clone before exo suits were a thing.


they are two completely different games, they are both good in their own way

Never wrote that they were similar, nor did I write that BO2 was a bad game. I'm saying that BO2 is inferior to Red Dead regardless of genre.

It will be the first game to be compatible. They have to individually work on each game to make it run on the Xbox One. They will just go down the line of most wanted games.

How much Call of Duty do these people need? Nice professionalism man. You must not have played one before or have just started recently. I played cod for almost ten years now, and understand why people love it. Me myself have moved on to Counter strike and rust, well PC in General. All i`m saying. Is that after I bought my Xbox One it went to shit real fast because all it had was ghost and aw. I would say these two are the most hated games in the series. Followed behind bo1 and mw3 which i don`t know why because both are great **** games. Anyway sad to see someone be so immature. If you want to play red dead so bad play PC.

It's nothing on microsoft's end, it's the developers of the game, they have to give the go ahead to xbox/microsoft because it is being put on another platform, etc.


Yeah so people can't really bash on Microsoft about that. I doubt they'll bring bo2 to Xbox one as bo3 is releasing . Supposedly they care about the fans. Lmao not true. Just the money.
