Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed into December

Rainbow Six: Siege has been delayed into December, Ubisoft has announced.


The delay is due to feedback received and based on our own internal tests.

“We felt there are adjustments and improvements we can make, including improving the co-op experience across all game modes, weapon and gadget balancing, as well as menu and interface navigation,” said the firm.

“We’re taking a little more time to make these changes, and we think it’s the right call.”

The closed beta for Rainbow Six: Siege will still start on September 24 as planned, and the additional time will allow for further testing on the infrastructure and matchmaking.

It will now be released on December 1.

Rainbow Six: Siege was originally slated for release on PC, PS4 and Xbox One on October 13.

If you pre-order on Xbox One, you get instant access to the Xbox 360 versions of Rainbow Six Vegas and Vegas 2 via backwards compatibility.

Never really tried much of the rainbow six saga, played a little on the earlier ones. The trailer looks pretty great in the graphical aspect with movement. Might see a purchase coming up.

PattieCakes Man, I was looking forward to that game, but I guess I'll just have to wait, anyways the game will be better so I guess it's worth it.


i pre ordered it a while ago and also got into the beta which im really happy about since im a huge fan of R6S. But the waiting is makeing me a bit angry since i want to play this as soon as possible!

The last rainbow six game i llayed was R6 vegas 2. Loved those games. Cant wait for this one. The release date is perfect for me that way i can focus more on school work and play this game during winter break
