Treyarch has stated in the message of the Day on the Black Ops 3 beta on PS4 that the new level cap is 40.
With this new level cap, players are now available to unlock the following items:
New Specialist: Spectre
New Assault Rifle: XR-2
New Scorestreaks: Guardian and Wraith
New Perk: Ghost

That's true , though I'm sure the levels won't stick. But if so that'd be lame, for the non beta players to be low rank while the beta players have weapons and attachments and stuff.
But everyone can play the beta so i can see the ranks stick possibly
They've already said that it won't be sticking. They hardly ever do, at least in my experience.
Activated Did they not just raise the max to 34 like 3 days ago? Is it that easy to level up?
People put many hours into it a day so it's not hard to gain 6 levels? Imo, it seemed to take slightly longer than some of the previous cods.
