Call of Duty Black Ops 3 New Details: AI Improvements, Lighting

4.7
The closer we get to the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 the more information we get about the game. Design Director David Vonderhaar recently sat down for an interview with Dualshockers not long after his team finished up their beta on the PS4, PC and Xbox One. Among the things he was willing to talk about were the ways the engine have changed. Vonderhaar says that the engine has been built up in a way that has made the lighting and deferred renderer that much better.

“I think that’s a lot of where that good look comes from is in the deferred rendering, the lighting and HDR stuff that’s going in there.” He added. The developer added that there have been improvements when it comes to the UI and UX and the game’s artificial intelligence. “When you go to a new console generation you have to go and make sure that you’re working hard to take advantage of the new graphics capabilities of the next generation. That’s what this team had the graphics engine torn apart for a while, to make sure that we can get all that beautifulness out of it, get all of the high poly stuff, get all of the shadows, and get all the lighting, and still run at sixty.”

All of this seems to be pretty good news when it comes to the impending release of the game. By all accounts, Advanced Warfare was one of the better iterations in this series for a while. Here’s hoping this game is even better. Call of Duty Black Ops is set for launch on November 6, 2015.

WoodzyCSGO the game itself is good, but i would like to see a cod without the stupid halo jumping

Personally I thought this was more of a cod thing since it was in AW. Halo 4 blew but if I recall they only had sprinting and 1 jump, but AW started this whole jumping shenanigans which it seems halo 5 will have (not getting that). I am with you though the whole jumping and wall running is not appealing
